Stablecoin trading volume of over $500 billion, a $4.5 billion RWA stock—this grand ecosystem narrative sounds like it’s about to take off. But when you look at the real money institutions are actually putting in, the response is surprisingly lukewarm.

On September 28, the $SOL ETF saw net inflows of only about $7.7 million for the day, and the inflow growth rate is visibly slowing. Even if the ecosystem looks like it’s thriving on the surface, that doesn’t directly translate into net buy orders that push the coin’s price up.

With buy-side volume of this scale, it can cushion downside risk, but it can’t possibly support a one-way, explosive surge. Institutions are slowly propping things up, so don’t let retail investors add drama to their own detriment. Until real capital truly comes in at scale to sweep the market, no matter what “breakout” talk you hear, the hard logic right now is a time-consuming sideways range with consolidation.
