• Price breaks resistance on HIGH volume = genuine breakout
Think of volume as fuel in a car. Price is the speedometer. You can coast uphill on momentum for a while, but without fuel, you eventually roll backward.
When you see a +4% move, your first instinct shouldn't be "buy." It should be: pull up the volume bars. Are they taller than the previous session? Is the volume above the 20-period average? If yes, the move has institutional weight behind it. If no, you're buying into thin air.
