THE END OF CONTENTOS (COS)
If you still have $COS in your wallet, it might be time to accept it: the Contentos project is practically over.
The coin that promised to be the "decentralized YouTube" couldn’t withstand the new reality of the market.
1. The final blow: Binance delisted
In June 2026, Binance put COS on the delisting watchlist along with D, HIGH, and MBOX. Before that, on March 7, it had already issued the Monitoring Tag—which, in Binance jargon, is an "early death warning".
Result? Down 31% on the day of the announcement and -94.18% over the last year. Today, COS is worth $0,00022 and has a market cap of only $1.66M, at position 1719.
Previously, in March, Binance had already closed COS deposits and withdrawals on the ERC20 network, forcing a migration to BEP20.
2. The main product was shut down
Now in December, the team confirmed what was missing: they will close COS.TV and the Channel VIP by December 14. Users have until December 1 to convert wallets to self-custody.
Without http://COS.TV, Contentos loses the only real use case it had.
3. Why did it die?
The same reason as always:
-Zero liquidity: 24h volume of $57 thousand
-Dead on-chain activity: wallets and transactions are stagnant
-No development: The team didn’t deliver the TradeyAI it promised and was stuck with speculation—there was even a 42% pump fake with volume +3,000% in March, but it was just manipulation.
Binance was clear in its statement: it evaluates the team’s commitment, volume, liquidity, and network stability. COS failed on all fronts.
And now, what to do if you have $COS ?
1. If it’s still on Binance, it has already been delisted. You can only withdraw.
2. If you have ERC20, use the official swap: https://swapcos.contentos.io to convert to BEP20 before you lose everything.
3. Still trades on Gate and MEXC, but with a withdrawal fee of up to $0.60.
