According to the announcement from Binance, the Binance P2P Beginner-Merchant Handshake Campaign will run from 2026-10-01 to 2026-10-16 and will reward eligible P2P merchants with a 100% Maker Fee rebate for each completed trade with a new P2P user. The campaign is designed for merchants posting ads with counterparty conditions set to “Max Completed Orders = 0” and “Max Trade Volume = 0 BTC,” which will tag the ad with a “Beginner-Friendly” badge. To qualify, merchants must complete at least 30 trades with new users during the Campaign Period, and the rebate will be calculated from actual Maker fees charged on completed orders that are not disputed or cancelled. The reward applies to the USDT trading pair, and the rebate will be credited to the merchant’s Spot Account after the campaign ends. New P2P users are defined as users with zero completed trades on Binance P2P before the Campaign Period, and the announcement says they can look for ads with the “Beginner-Friendly” tag or use the “Beginner-Friendly” filter on the P2P trading page.
The announcement also states that only users who complete identity verification and confirm participation during the Promotion Period can qualify for rewards. The campaign is not open to residents or citizens of the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, Hong Kong, Singapore, or any other jurisdiction on Binance's List of Prohibited Countries. Binance said it reserves the right to verify the jurisdiction of any participant and disregard entries at its sole discretion. Rewards will be calculated and distributed after the campaign ends, with payouts credited to the merchant’s Spot Account within 14 working days after the campaign ends. Binance also noted that it may disqualify users involved in dishonest behavior, including wash trading, illegally bulk account registrations or logins, self dealing, or market manipulation, and it may amend, suspend, terminate, or extend the promotion at any time without prior notice.
