According to a notice issued by the Indian government, India lowered export taxes on diesel and aviation turbine fuel for the first half of October, while keeping gasoline export taxes unchanged. Diesel export taxes, including the special additional excise duty and road and infrastructure cess, will be cut from 20 rupees per liter to 16 rupees per liter. Aviation turbine fuel export taxes will be reduced from 15 rupees per liter to 10.5 rupees per liter, while gasoline export taxes will remain at 0.5 rupees per liter. The new rates will take effect on October 1.
