$BTC 9月收在83,624,月涨6.4%;10月第一天开在83,500附近。

PCE was below expectations that night; BTC surged to 85,650 but failed to hold, then slipped back to 83.5万. Among the top 40 coins by trading volume, BTC’s September gain ranked only 35th.

There are two numbers left this week: tonight at 10:00 (Beijing time) ISM Manufacturing PMI, and tomorrow at 8:30 p.m. Non-Farm Payrolls.

Positioning: in the 7-day range 82,563 to 85,650; the 30-day high is 87,396 and the low is 74,968.

Scenario 1: If it breaks above 85,650, it means the PCE tailwind was absorbed. Next stop would be the intra-month high around 87,400.

Scenario 2: If it falls below 82,563, the PCE trade is basically a wash; the 80,000 psychological level will need to be tested.

Volatility is highest around Non-Farm Payrolls—first lower the leverage. It matters more than guessing the direction.
