Stable also got stablecoin settlement onto Visa Direct.

According to Wu, Stable announced an integration with Visa Direct, connecting stablecoin settlement infrastructure to Visa’s global funds transfer network, enabling funds to be delivered to bank accounts and mobile wallets in real time. This move feels more like filling in a “withdrawal channel” than giving special attention to a single specific token.

In terms of what we can see, on-chain settlement is moving toward traditional finance use cases for on/off-ramps, cross-border remittances, and RWA. From what we can observe, Visa’s network effects may increase institutional availability for this kind of infrastructure. On the other hand, the market often equates partnership announcements directly with reasons to chase a particular coin; here, we should focus on the scope of future adoption rather than jumping to conclusions.

Which are you more interested in: the expansion of stablecoin payments enabled by partnerships like this, or improvements in the efficiency of traditional finance on/off-ramp operations?
