$LYN Over these 15 minutes, it dropped 6.54%. Volume surged straight to 36x. The order book is filled entirely with aggressive sell orders, with the buy/sell ratio at 0.72. This isn’t a normal pullback—it’s leveraged short sellers going crazy and building positions.

The OI abnormal percentile hit 99.2%, ranking #1 in the entire pool. Even the notional change is also among the top. Price is falling while OI is rising—structurally it’s very clear: newly added short leverage is accelerating into the market.

OI over the past hour is down 2.50%. The notional value decreased by 1.57M U, but the 15-minute contract notional is actually expanding—meaning someone is charging in. The 24-hour trading volume is only 16.48M, so this pool wasn’t deep to begin with. Now that leverage is concentrated, once the liquidation chain gets pushed downward, it will move extremely smoothly.

With multiple consecutive cycles continuing, I’m not very comfortable trying to trade within the middle of this extreme range by cutting in. Either wait for OI to top out and fall back, or wait for a quick squeeze of the shorts. In the middle position, guessing the direction is the most expensive move.
