Let me tell you something that happened to me during this cycle.
In 2024, my crypto portfolio rose quite a lot. I didn’t sell because I was waiting for the famous altseason.
But then the market turned.
My portfolio got close to R$ 4 thousand. I had lost almost 80%.
Was it difficult? It was. But that was money I had put in knowing I could lose it. It wasn’t money I needed to live on. Crypto is an extremely risky market and I knew that.
After that, I started studying some projects more calmly and got to know NEAR better.
I liked the project, the technology, the narrative, the development, and the adoption potential. And one thing stood out: NEAR itself had suffered a huge drop along with the market.
So I thought:
“Want to know what? My bet is going to be on this.”
If NEAR improves, I improve along with it.
So I stopped jumping from one altcoin to another and focused my investments into it.
Was it a risky decision? For sure. 😂
But I believed in the project.
And so far, it’s worked.
Today I have 1.056 NEAR and my portfolio is back to around R$30 thousand, after having reached approximately R$4 thousand.
Seeing that after losing almost 80% is a hard feeling to explain.
But now comes the hardest part:
not giving it all back again.
I’m not saying that NEAR will keep going up, much less that someone should do what I did.
I’m just telling my story.
I lost almost 80%, believed in a project, and I’m managing to recover.
Now it’s about having the mindset to know what to do with what I’ve regained.
