UK FCA OPENS CRYPTO AUTHORISATION GATEWAY AHEAD OF 2027 REGIME 🇬🇧 The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has officially started accepting cryptoasset authorisation applications, marking a major step toward the country’s new crypto regulation framework. 🔹 Applications open: Sept 30, 2026 🔹 Deadline: Feb 28, 2027 🔹 New regime: Oct 25, 2027 The framework will cover crypto exchanges, trading platforms, custody, staking, stablecoin activities and other regulated crypto services. Existing AML registration will NOT automatically convert into full FCA authorisation.
