$MOVR This move is a bit interesting.

On the 15m timeframe, it rose 3.7%, but volume didn’t really expand (0.78x). Meanwhile, OI is stacking upward in sync—on the 1h contracts, +2.75%, with notional increasing by 830K. The abnormal percentile is already up to 94.4%, and the whole pool ranks at #10. Price is up, OI is up, and the funding rate is still in the high percentile recently. This combination is basically new leveraged longs pushing in—not shorts being squeezed.

Active trading volume is +6.9%, buy/sell ratio is 1.15, with buy-side dominance. But the 15m volume momentum didn’t keep up, which suggests this push isn’t that “thick.” 24h turnover is 390M, and market depth is still decent.

An abnormal percentile of 94.4% means price is already trading right along its historical extreme range. With leveraged longs building positions to this extent, the next phase is either further acceleration or the beginning of a liquidation/harvest. I’m watching the funding rate and OI changes—if funding keeps rising, while OI continues to build but price starts to stall, then you have to be careful.

At this level, chasing higher isn’t great in terms of risk-reward. Wait for a pullback and confirmation—it’s safer.
