Christian Pusateri argues that U.S. leadership in digital assets could help determine how global finance operates. According to NS3.AI, he said dollar-backed stablecoins could extend demand for U.S. debt, while tokenization could speed up transactions and widen access to assets and credit.

Pusateri cited World Bank figures showing that 1.3 billion adults lack formal financial services, although roughly 900 million of them own mobile phones. He also warned that digital finance could accelerate capital flight and fraud without identity checks, cybersecurity, compliance, and legal recourse.
