Today, in the last few hours, a historic record is being decided.

Bitcoin is gaining around 7.3% in September, and while it may not seem like it, that is enormous—September is HISTORICALLY the worst month of the year for Bitcoin. From 2013 to 2025, it closed in the red 8 out of 13 times, including 6 straight years between 2017 and 2022. September’s historical average is -2.34%.

If today’s close holds, it would be the best September recorded, narrowly beating the 7.29% from 2024. But it’s literally "on a tightrope"—the result depends on where today’s candle closes.

If Bitcoin stays above $83,600, the record will be confirmed.

This is the kind of data you don’t see every day—the most feared month in the crypto calendar could end up being the best.
