【The bull market ends in greed, not in a crash】

Back in December 2017, I saw plenty of it. Everyone around me was talking about crypto— even the taxi drivers were asking whether they could open accounts. Back then, the greed index was off the charts. But what about the altcoins? Some people had already started quietly withdrawing, but most were unwilling to admit it.

Now look at AVAX—

FNG is 71, with a weekly average of only 72. That means the whole community’s sentiment is still stuck in the illusion of “it’s fine, the bull market is still on.” But what about AVAX itself? In the past 24 hours it’s down 4.7%— quietly moving.

What does this indicate?

Institutions and smart money have already started to move, but retail investors are still comforting themselves with the self-assurance that “this time is different.” History doesn’t simply repeat itself, but the script is always the same—just with different ingredients.

From a business logic standpoint—

AVAX’s current problem isn’t that the technology isn’t good. It’s that market sentiment is running far ahead of the fundamentals. When a 92% drawdown is staring everyone in the face, has the fundamentals undergone a fundamental change? From what I’ve observed—no. The technical iterations are still progressing, and the ecosystem is also expanding. But valuation correction requires more than just that; it also needs liquidity to cooperate.

What does the fact that the BTC market share is 58.4% tell us? Capital is highly concentrated in BTC, and altcoin liquidity is tightening. Under these circumstances, it’s difficult for AVAX to break out into an independent trend.

I’m not saying AVAX will collapse. But if you’re chasing it at this level, you need to think clearly—are you buying the expectation of a rebound, or do you truly believe in what it will look like three years from now?

In the former case, the risk-reward ratio isn’t worth it.

So, what are you planning to do with the AVAX you hold right now—ride it out or exit?
