This perfectly confirms my earlier concerns: the visible cooling in the data largely comes from changes to the statistical methodology.

Look at the retail long-vs-short ratio jumping to 53.9%, and then look at the trading volume shrinking to only 13.9 billion. I refuse to chase higher in this kind of ‘illusory good news’.
