Bitcoin was nearly flat in the early session, holding around 83.4k. In the evening it recovered and moved above 85.2k, nearing the intraday high of 85.5k, with the overnight low at 82.9k holding. BNB turned red and led the way; Ethereum still dipped slightly. Total market cap is about $2.928 trillion, down 1.83% over 24h. The window is still green, but the decline has clearly narrowed from the early-session -2.95%. Bitcoin’s share is 58.5% (CoinGecko).

🔍 In the U.S., August core personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index came in at 3% year-over-year, below expectations of 3.3%, the lowest in half a year. After the data release, Bitcoin moved up to 84k then 85k. The market’s probability for the Fed to keep rates unchanged in October is about 53%, and the probability of a rate hike is about 47% (PANews).

💡 Outlook: Whether it can hold near 85.5k will determine the first move after the quarterly line closes. If it loses support, then it will likely revisit 82.9k. Pay attention to profit-taking at Thursday’s open.
