OpenAI @OpenAI has apparently learned bad habits from A÷ too.
The Pro 200 that Jeni Jun ordered: the Codex quota was cut from 20x on Plus down to 10x, with no price reduction. Then, they turned around and added a Pro 500 priced at $500 with a 25x quota.
Before, you could get 20x for $200; now 25x costs $500. That spreadsheet is clacking away loudly.
They did include compensation—$2,500 worth of quota—but it expires by the end of the year, and someone figured it’s only enough for about a week of the original usage.
Altman, is this because he sees this year’s IPO is unlikely,
and just giving up? 🤣
