First, watch these signals in the U.S. stock market.
Don’t use last week’s rate-cut story to explain today’s trading.
Put the numbers on the board first, then talk about the outlook.
Gold 4,210 (5-day -2.57%, Yahoo)
Dow Jones 51,350 (5-day -0.99%, Yahoo)
U.S. 10Y Treasury 5.25% (5-day +2.76%)
My take: U.S. 10-year Treasury yields are at 5.25%, and over the next 5 days they could rise another +2.76%. The long end is sucking out liquidity, so growth stocks and the valuation narratives for BTC have to step aside.
Crypto cross-check: BTC 83,758 (24h -0.56%), ETH 2,692 (-1.22%). ETH’s 24h performance at -1.22% is weaker than BTC’s -0.56%. The FX rate is 0.03214. Funds are shrinking into BTC; altcoins will have to wait—watch from the sidelines before moving to the right side.
What to watch next: In crypto, just focus on one thing: can BTC close above the 24h high of 84,564? If it can’t, then any “following rally” is just talk.
My position: Waiting. Price hasn’t chosen a side, and I haven’t paid for leverage—opening a trade now is basically doing the exchange’s work.
Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance U-based / Yahoo daily line (5-day up/down). Missing numbers aren’t filled in.
meme—when it hasn’t outperformed BTC, are you still holding it?
