According to CNBC, a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after transmitting emergency signals following a fight between the pilots, an Israeli official said on Wednesday. Flight-tracking site Flightradar24 said Flight FZ1073 entered a general emergency signal, then a second signal indicating possible unlawful interference, after flying over Jordanian airspace, and later landed safely at Tabuk airport in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Israeli media said the Boeing 737 had about 150 Israeli passengers on board, while Flightradar24 said the aircraft appeared to descend nearly 14,000 feet in less than 30 seconds before the first emergency signal. An airline spokesperson said the flight experienced an incident en route to Tel Aviv and that all passengers were safe and accounted for. The Israeli prime minister's office said the situation was under control and that measures were being taken to bring the Israeli passengers back to Israel.
