$MOVR This order book looks a bit interesting: the price is being hammered downward, yet the OI is steadily stacking up.

In the 15m timeframe: down 1.16%, volume at 1.68x—nothing like a huge waterfall, but not light either. The key is open interest. The 1h contracts’ OI directly surged by +8.41%; the notional change is 1.3 million U; the anomaly percentile is 91%. The entire pool’s notional change ranks 38th. This is a typical “price down, positions up” structure—there’s a pretty good chance that new shorts are still being added.

Now look at the funding rate: -0.0432%, with the near-end percentile at 100%. With it being this extremely negative, it suggests the short crowd is already overcrowded to the max. Maker/taker? Active trades are worse by +3.0%, buy/sell ratio at 1.06—so there are still buyers absorbing it.

With this kind of structure, either the shorts keep pressing the attack, or it’s the night before a squeeze. The 24h trading value is 72.92M; the depth is sufficient—not some tiny pond just wobbling around.

I’m watching the next moves in OI and funding. If the funding rate keeps getting pushed to extremes while the price doesn’t move, then be careful.
