How I profited from an XRP short this week!!!
September 23 XRP hit a local peak of $1.63 — the second attempt to break $1.60 within a week. Both failed. Classic double top. Clear signal.
What I did:
Opened a short on XRP perp futures. Entry price — $1.61. Stop-loss — $1.68. Target — $1.47-$1.50.
Result:
XRP dropped from $1.63 to $1.47 in 6 days — minus 9.8%. Position closed with a profit. Stop-loss was not hit.
Why it worked:
The technical signal was clear — two failed attempts to break the $1.60 resistance. The macro environment also didn’t help XRP — BTC was under pressure, and geopolitics is making the market nervous. A convergence of factors made a great short.
