Will Micron’s profits in Q4 bring a new breakout?
As we know, over the coming days Micron will announce its earnings
and the whole market is focused on the semiconductor sector and high-bandwidth memory (HBM)
—and we’ll likely see it rise for several reasons.
First: gross profit margin
I expect Micron to clear the 86% hurdle this quarter
The main driver isn’t traditional demand
rather, the high-profit margins of high-end memory chips dedicated to artificial intelligence
for which demand has outpaced supply recently.
Second: the continuation of the Memory Super Cycle
This cycle isn’t like the previous ones.
We’re currently at the peak of a complete rebuilding of global technology infrastructure because of AI
so I see this cycle as far from over—it’s still at the beginning
and I expect it to keep growing throughout at least next year.
What are your expectations? Do you think the stock could hit new highs?
