How is everyone doing with AI these days???
You pay for ChatGPT Pro and Plus, but you’re still getting frequent errors?
This time, it’s not just free users complaining—the paid users are starting to experience rising error rates too.
According to a report by Chainnews, OpenAI is investigating the issue of increased error rates among ChatGPT Pro and Plus users. Recently, there have also been cases where ChatGPT, Codex, and the API encountered request failures, login difficulties, and tasks that couldn’t be completed.
Earlier, from September 22 to 23, Plus and Pro users also saw an incident where the error rate increased.
The question is:
If AI has already become a work tool, isn’t stability more important than whether the model is “smart”?
In the past, when ChatGPT occasionally threw errors, people might have thought retrying would be enough.
But now more and more people use AI to write code, do research, handle files, run workflows, and even integrate agents into business operations. Once the service is unstable, the impact isn’t just “chat experience”—it could directly turn into a productivity problem.
This also suggests that the next phase of competition among AI giants may not be only about who has the stronger model:
Model capability determines what you can do, while stability determines whether you dare to hand your work to it.
Have you recently encountered noticeable errors or task interruptions when using ChatGPT?
If paid AI keeps running into problems, will you switch platforms, or keep waiting for it to be fixed?
