🤔 Bitcoin for $1,000,000 — is that even real?

You’ve probably seen this forecast in headlines. Some think it’s inevitable, others call it a beautiful fairy tale. We broke down in a new video what’s behind that number.

The question isn’t whether one coin can be worth $1 million. The question is whether the world will agree to value the entire Bitcoin network at about $20 trillion. That’s five Apples. More than Microsoft, Nvidia, or Amazon individually.

What almost everyone misunderstands:
— To reach a $20 trillion market cap, you don’t need $20 trillion in live money. The price is set on margin — based on the latest trade, not on the total sum of all investments
— But that doesn’t make it an easy task: limited supply amplifies not only growth, but also the drop
— $20 trillion is ~60% of the gold market and just 4% of the world’s household wealth

Optimist vs. skeptic:
— Optimist: there are only 21 million coins, demand is growing — so the road is open
— Skeptic: scarcity explains why an asset can be valuable,
but it doesn’t answer who will be buying at a million

The truth, as usual, is in the details — and we covered them: where demand could come from, how institutions and gold fit into it, and what could break all of this
