Do you think that to start in crypto you need hundreds or thousands of dollars?

Not necessarily.

You can start with US$10, US$20, or US$50.

But there’s something much more important than the amount of money you start with:

👉 learn what you’re doing before increasing your capital.

If I had to start again with little money today, these would be the 5 things I would take into account.

1️⃣ Don’t buy a crypto just because “it’s going to go up”

This is one of the most common mistakes.

Before buying, I would try to answer:

🔹 What is this project?

🔹 What is its token used for?

🔹 What factors can make it go up or down?

🔹 What risks does it have?

If the only reason to buy is “they told me it’s going to go up,” there’s still more to research.

2️⃣ With a small amount of money, your goal can be to learn

Let’s be realistic:

US$10 won’t make you rich.

But they can give you something very valuable: real experience.

With a small amount you can learn:

📈 how the price moves

💰 how to buy

🔄 how to sell

📊 how charts work

💵 what a profit or loss means

🔐 how to protect your account

And all of that without needing to start with a large amount of capital.

3️⃣ You don’t need to buy 10 cryptos

If you have US$10 and you buy 10 different assets, you’ll probably end up with a minimum amount in each one and not really understand what you’re doing.

You can start by studying a few options.

For example:

🟠 BTC

🟡 BNB

🔵 USDC

They’re assets with different characteristics, and that’s exactly why they can help you understand different concepts.

That doesn’t mean one is automatically better.

4️⃣ Learn what tools you’re using

Buying and holding a crypto isn’t the only thing that exists.

On Binance you can also find tools like Earn, where certain assets can generate rewards under specific conditions.

But here something shows up that we already talked about in other articles:

🚨 A higher APR doesn’t automatically mean it’s better.

You have to look at:

what asset you’re using;

how long the product lasts;

whether it’s Flexible or Locked;

how the rate can change;

what asset you receive the reward in;

and, above all, what risks you’re taking.

5️⃣ Starting with a small amount doesn’t eliminate risk

This is essential.

Just because they’re US$10 doesn’t mean you can’t lose money.

The price of a crypto can go up, but it can also go down.

That’s why, if you’re just starting out, it makes sense to use an amount you can afford to learn with without compromising the money you need for your expenses.

💡 So what would I do with US$10?

I wouldn’t try to turn them into US$100 quickly.

I would try to turn those US$10 into experience.

Because if you later increase your capital, you’ll get to know the platform better, the tools, the risks, and your own decisions.

And that can be much more important than trying to find the crypto that “will explode.”

👇 Now I want to know about you

If Binance gave you US$10 to start today, what would you choose?

🟠 BTC

🟡 BNB

🔵 USDC

🟣 Another crypto

💰 Earn

And why?

It’s not worth answering just “because it’s going to go up” 😂
