#MOVR($MOVR )I’m biased toward waiting and watching; I won’t chase. 11:00:51 complete scan: Binance USDⓈ-M perpetual futures across the entire market—ranked #2 on the 24-hour gainers list (+32.024%). At the time, trading volume was about $45.90 million. Compared with the previous part published at 06:10, the added information isn’t simply “it jumped a lot,” but rather that after the next 4 hours continued climbing, the latest full hour returned to the area near the levels I was observing earlier, while volume also cooled down. This dataset shows continuation alongside short-term disagreement; you can’t take it as a breakout confirmation directly.

Binance USDⓈ-M complete 4-hour candles show that from 04:00 to 07:59 it closed at 1.2486 USDT, about 7.5% higher than the prior segment close of 1.1614. Trading value was about $16.05 million, up about 50.8% from the previous 4 hours. The segment’s high was 1.2721 and the low was 1.1267. After that, the 4-hour candle from 08:00 to 11:59 had not finished closing when the data was collected, so you can’t treat it as a closing conclusion. The hourly path is even more cautious: from 09:00 to 09:59 the high briefly touched 1.2920 and it closed at 1.2388; from 10:00 to 10:59 the low fell back to 1.1930 and it closed at 1.2360, with trading value around $3.73 million—about 42% less than the prior hour’s $6.47 million. The close is near the 1.2388 level marked in the earlier part; that doesn’t mean there’s already an effective breakdown or a confirmed reclaim.

Derivatives data is only for structural observation: Binance’s hourly open interest sample rose from about 3.52 million MOVR at 06:00 to about 3.98 million at 11:00, an increase of roughly 13%. Open interest doesn’t distinguish between long/short direction. The current funding rate is around +0.005%, not a large move, so you also can’t infer buyers are dominant from that.

Project news needs to be separated from price causality. Moonriver’s official announcement dated July 7 discussed MOVR migration to Base and the bridging by self-custody holders by July 31; that’s older background information, not a new catalyst for this wave. I checked the project’s official news page and didn’t find any new announcements near this period, so I won’t attribute the rally to the migration. The announcement also distinguishes self-custody assets from exchange-custody assets; the latter are handled via the exchange’s migration plan.

Going forward, I’ll only watch completed candles: whether 1.2388 can regain and hold, whether 1.2920 can be effectively broken through, and whether a pullback around 1.1930 expands. These are observation boundaries, not trading instructions. A full-market scan at 11:08 still lists MOVR at #2; the ranking and the 24-hour window will keep rolling as new data updates. Data comes from Binance USDⓈ-M public market feeds/candles/open interest/funding rate interfaces and Moonriver’s official announcements. I don’t equate trading value with net inflows, and I won’t use it to provide buy/sell conclusions.
