According to Sina Finance, industry sources said AMD CEO Lisa Su is expected to visit South Korea next month to meet with executives from South Korean semiconductor companies and government officials. She is also expected to attend a meeting in Seoul on October 8, with chief executives from major South Korean AI chip companies, including Rebellions, FuriosaAI, and Mobilint, expected to join. Sources said Su is also expected to meet South Korea's Minister of Science and ICT, Bae Kyung-hoon, before or after the meeting, and to coordinate meetings with leaders of major South Korean companies, including Samsung Electronics. During her visit in March, Su met Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong. Samsung Electronics has supplied AMD with HBM3E chips since 2025 for its latest AI solutions.
