Just watched $BETA take this wave—-64% was directly smashed down to near zero. To be honest, it’s a bit numb. According to Binance’s real-time data, trading volume is still 296K, which means some people are cutting losses while others are betting on a rebound. $PYR and $WTC are the same story—down 57% and 56% respectively. This kind of altcoin killing is really unreasonable.
I’ve also been burned on $BETA . I chased higher, went in on a breakout—then the upper wick appeared and I didn’t run. Ended up getting buried. Now I’ve learned: for contracts, use leverage no more than 5x; per-trade position size must not exceed 2% of total capital. If you see a long upper wick, immediately cut the position in half. Set the stop-loss as a hard stop—don’t argue with the market.
If you want to bottom-fish, wait for a volume-backed selloff-stabilization signal—don’t catch a flying knife. The same goes for $PYR and $WTC. Liquidity is too poor; slippage can literally eat you alive. My principle right now is: it’s better to miss than to get it wrong. Losing money is easy; getting back to even is hard.
Go take a look at the order book and make your own judgment—don’t just listen to my rambling. The above is only my personal opinion and does not constitute investment advice.
