SUBFROST said Alkanes accounted for 61.1% of Bitcoin transactions from June 23 through Sept. 20. According to NS3.AI, almost all of that activity was DIESEL minting.

The company also said Alkanes used 40.3% of Bitcoin block space by weight during the same period.
