Many believe that being on a Layer 2 is more secure. But they forget something basic:

L2s inherit the security of the L1.

NaoX Protocol just reminded everyone of this with @EliBenSasson from StarkWare:

If Ethereum is not post-quantum, then NONE of the L2s built on Ethereum are.

LEFT - Ethereum + L2s:
They use ECDSA. Classical cryptography. Vulnerable to Shor’s algorithm when a sufficiently powerful quantum computer arrives. It doesn’t matter how good the L2 is—it inherits the risk.

RIGHT - NaoX | Post-Quantum L1:
It’s born with NIST ML-DSA. An approved post-quantum standard. Secure from the genesis block. No patching, no migrating. It’s already future-proof.

Bottom line: If the foundation is vulnerable, everything built on top of it is too.

The quantum threat isn’t only for Bitcoin. As StarkWare said, it’s for the whole system. And AI is accelerating it.

This isn’t hype—it’s architecture.

Study the difference between patching and being born secure.
