According to Jin10, Reuters reported that AI startup Anthropic disclosed in confidential IPO filings that it has signed an agreement with SpaceX to pay up to $84.5 billion by 2029 to use SpaceX's Nvidia chip-based AI computing resources. Most of the agreement can be terminated with 90 days' notice, and the amount is significantly higher than the scale SpaceX previously disclosed. In May, Anthropic announced a compute leasing agreement with SpaceX. SpaceX's earlier filing said Anthropic agreed to pay $1.25 billion per month for up to about three years, for a total of nearly $45 billion, and that deal also included a 90-day cancellation clause.
