Peter Brandt has been trading markets since the 1970s. He just doubled his Bitcoin forecast — and he's betting it happens by 2029.
The veteran chartist believes Bitcoin has already left its cycle low behind and stepped into a fresh bull run. He now expects the cycle peak to land somewhere between $300,000 and $600,000 by late 2029 — a sharp jump from his earlier call of $250,000–$300,000. Brandt went even further, saying a run to $500,000 looks "very likely."
But here's the twist — he's also warning of a gut-check first.
Before the big rally, Brandt expects Bitcoin to dip to $65,000–$66,000 in early October, a move he thinks will flush out shaky late buyers before the real climb begins. In other words: pain before the payoff.
And he's not sparing XRP either.
Brandt called XRP a "fool coin," arguing that its payment use case and Ripple's banking partnerships don't automatically mean the token itself will gain value. Blunt words from one of the most followed technical analysts in the game.
The numbers right now:
📈 BTC: +1.01%
📈 XRP: +4.3%
So — is this the calm before Bitcoin's biggest run yet, or just another bold call in a market full of them?
