The first U.S. listed spot $NEAR ETP has truly started trading today—not just another round of calling for Form 8-A.

Bitwise Asset Management: On September 29, the official announcement stated that the Bitwise NEAR ETF (NYSE Arca: NRR) has launched in the United States. The positioning is very straightforward—providing investors with spot exposure, targeting the narrative of AI money / agentic commerce; management fee 0.75%.

1️⃣ Trading day is set to today: the official statement is starting on September 29, 2026 on NYSE Arca—not that kind of “approved but pending” air.

2️⃣ Staking is the selling point: Bitwise plans to internally stake the fund’s holdings, benchmarked against the protocol side’s annualized ~5% staking rewards (rewards are added to NAV, not guaranteed, and may change).

3️⃣ Product line coverage: In Europe, there is already a staking ETP approved by BaFin; in the US, it fills the gap with the first spot NEAR ETP, placed on the same shelf as its own BITB, ETHW, BSOL, etc.

I’m filtering for this one—what I’m looking at is the “first US stock spot NEAR + official launch day = hard position on the trading day,” not shilling a coin based on its price. Listing ≠ the first-day net inflows already confirmed, and it also ≠ one-way price movement.

≠ The NEAR Intents SHIELD blocking the Bitget hacker from earlier today (DeFi risk control ≠ ETF product listing).

≠ Pure $BTC price band.
