Bitcoin has returned to trading above US$ 84 thousand this Tuesday (29), up about 1.5% over 24 hours. As a result, the cryptocurrency has recovered part of the losses from the previous day, when the drop to US$ 82.5 thousand contributed to the liquidation of about US$ 500 million in leveraged positions in the crypto market.
Around 9:30 a.m., Bitcoin was quoted at US$ 84.381. Monday’s decline (28) pushed the asset to a seven-day low, and liquidations reached 129.197 traders over 24 hours.
The main support comes from spot Bitcoin ETFs traded in the United States, which captured US$ 2.39 billion in the week ending September 25, according to SoSoValue. This was the largest weekly volume since October 2025, enough to leave the 2026 balance positive, which had accumulated outflows of about US$ 5.55 billion in early July.
The pace, however, lost momentum over the week. Inflows fell from nearly US$ 1 billion on Monday (21) to US$ 134.5 million on Friday (25). This Monday, they totaled only US$ 31 million, in the weakest positive session of the streak, with BlackRock’s IBIT offsetting redemptions in Fidelity’s FBTC and Grayscale’s GBTC.
