TRON DAO is celebrating the debut of the Canary Staked TRX ETF ($TRXS) with the Cboe Closing Bell in Chicago.
TRXS has been trading on Cboe since September 9, giving investors exposure to the spot price of TRX through a traditional brokerage account. But the interesting part is that this is not just a simple TRX price product.
The fund also stakes part of its TRX through the TRON network’s Delegated Proof-of-Stake system, with net staking rewards reflected in the fund’s NAV.
For me, this is where the story gets interesting.
TRON is already one of the biggest networks for stablecoin settlement and USDT activity. Now we are starting to see financial products that connect that onchain usage directly with traditional capital markets.
The Closing Bell itself is symbolic.
What matters next is whether products like TRXS can become a real bridge between TRON’s onchain economy and institutional capital.
That is the part worth watching.
