$XAG Gold futures contracts rose during
the European session

Gold futures contracts rose during the European session on Tuesday.
According to COMEX classification for the New York Mercantile Exchange, trading of gold futures in December took place at USD4,187.15 per ounce at the time of writing, up 0.45%.

They were previously traded earlier in the session at USD4,193.26 per ounce. Gold may find support at USD4143.10 and resistance at USD4407.50.

Dollar index futures, which measures the performance of the US currency against a basket of six other major currencies, rose 0.10% to trade at USD101.03.
