NEAR drops more than 14%, and there are $3.67 million worth of positions being liquidated—I’m actually starting to watch this level.
Today’s NEAR selloff has been brutal.
An address holding 748,100 NEAR tokens was liquidated directly; the position value is roughly $3.67 million. What’s more interesting is that the market was originally trading on expectations for a NEAR spot ETF, but the price didn’t ride the momentum higher—instead, it first went through a big washout.
In this kind of market, I don’t want to chase the selling.
Based on my current judgment, $4.60–$4.75 is the zone where I’m willing to start seriously considering a setup.
If this area can digest the liquidation-induced selling pressure from this round and then reclaim $4.85, my first target would be around $5.05; if capital continues to flow back in, the second target would be $5.25–$5.35.
But I also have a line in the sand:
If $4.45 breaks down convincingly and the rebound can’t get back up, I’ll abandon this short-term bullish plan.
Simply put, my plan for NEAR tonight is:
watch $4.60–$4.75 → $5.05 first target → $5.25–$5.35 second target → $4.45 invalidates.
After a large liquidation, is it fear-driven selling that has created an opportunity—or is there a second round of selloff?
I lean toward the former, but let the price confirm.
