CoinShares head of research James Butterfill said ETF inflows do not reveal how much demand comes from institutions. According to NS3.AI, CoinShares data show about $4.44 billion flowed into U.S. crypto investment products in September. Butterfill said many institutional investors use BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF for basis trades.
