$CL Saudi Arabian Drilling Equipment jumps by more than 3% after signing a $2 billion deal

The Saudi Arabian Drilling Equipment Company continues to strengthen its business track record with new drilling contracts, following the signing of a contract worth approximately $533.3 million, equivalent to about two billion riyals, for joint Khafji operations over four years to provide four self-lifting offshore rigs.

The contract brings the company’s total order book to around $4.8 billion, with the expected financial impact beginning to show from the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.

The importance of the deal lies in the fact that it not only adds financial value, but also enhances the company’s presence in offshore drilling operations, as it is expected to increase the number of its rigs supporting joint Khafji operations by 200%.
