📈 ETH breaks above 2705—this rebound feels more solid than it looked this morning.
This morning I said 2706 was the key level. Now it’s not only been reclaimed—it didn’t spike up on a single wick; it has held and moved higher steadily.
The data has started to improve 🔍
The active buy/sell ratio is back to 1.0387, and bids have regained dominance. Open interest is up 1.82%, and leveraged funds are starting to enter. This is different from this morning: earlier it was a reduced-position rebound; now there is new money following in.
The positioning is also correct 📊
This morning’s first hurdle at 2706 has already been reclaimed. The support below has shifted up from 2666 to 2685 (15-min SAR) and 2652 (1-hour SAR), with the focus clearly raised.
But don’t rush to call a reversal ⚠️
Two issues are still here. First, the 1-hour ADX is only 11.2, and the 4-hour ADX is 12.4—this still indicates a ranging market, not a trending one. Second, the 4-hour moving averages are still in a bearish arrangement; the larger timeframe hasn’t flipped yet.
This move looks more like probing the upper edge of the range, not the start of a trend.
🎯 My plan
I’m not chasing price up. I’ll wait for two scenarios:
A pullback from 2685 to 2695 stabilizes—I’ll consider going long with a light position. Target: 2735. Stop-loss: 2670.
If price pushes into 2725 to 2735 but can’t break through, and it stalls with volume—then I’ll consider reversing to short. Target: 2700 to 2685. Stop-loss: 2755.
🛑 Remember this: right above, 2725 to 2750 has a liquidation density of $74.6 billion—the thickest layer on the whole chart. When price reaches there, the first reaction is very likely to be a stall, not a clean pass through.

This morning I said if we get above 2706, I’d be bullish. Now that it has reclaimed it—are you following along? Or are you planning to wait for a pullback? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇
