Julius Baer has applied for permission to restart share buybacks after Swiss regulator Finma ended its enforcement procedure against the wealth manager, according to Bloomberg.

The case had been a long-standing overhang on the stock after Julius Baer came under scrutiny over steep losses tied to dealings with Austrian property tycoon Rene Benko.
