Right now LTC is around $69; the hype has mostly been grabbed by new coins.

But I took a look at the Litecoin website and saw that this thing, on average, processes almost 300,000 transactions per day, and the average fee is less than $0.01.

It has almost no AI and no RWA stories—it's still the same business that's been around for more than a decade: sending money.

On the other hand, institutional inflows are also being fueled: Grayscale is pushing the Litecoin Trust toward the form of a spot ETF and listing it on NYSE Arca. In the SEC documents for September, it already says «Grayscale Litecoin Trust ETF».

On September 12, Litecoin Core was updated to version 0.21.5.8—continuing to report unchanged foundational components: MWEB, mining, and nodes.

So right now I have a pretty mixed feeling about LTC:

someone is still busy writing a whitepaper and explaining «why it’s needed».

It’s already almost 15 years old, and it still—every day—honestly transfers money 😂

👀 If one day a line tied to an ETF takes yet another step forward, then this coin—one that the market has long «written off»—could suddenly come back to life.
