💥Major events in the Bitcoint community 26/09/29💥
• Bitget - Resumed BTC mainnet withdrawals at 16:00 Beijing time on September 28. Earlier, a security incident was confirmed to have affected approximately $387.5 million. The ETH withdrawal plan will resume at 16:00 on September 29, and USDT withdrawals at 16:00 on September 30. Other tokens, fiat, and P2P withdrawals are scheduled to resume at 16:00 on October 2.
• Coinbase - On September 28, received approval from the U.S. CFTC to register Coinbase Clearing LLC as a derivatives clearing organization, capable of clearing fully margined futures, options on futures, and swaps. On the same day, it expanded cooperation with Citi to provide enterprises with automatic conversion from fiat to stablecoins, stablecoin receipts, and fiat settlement capabilities.
• $BTC - Strategy disclosed on September 28: from September 21 to 27, it bought 1,665 BTC for about $142.7 million, at an average price of $85,681. Total holdings increased to 847,666 BTC.
• $LINK - Chainlink launched CCIP 2.0 on September 28. It added cross-chain validators that can be run either by users or third parties, along with configurable confirmation speeds, and integrated ACE to execute compliance strategies such as KYC, AML, and transaction limit controls.
• $XDP - Doppler Finance completed its TGE and opened the airdrop claim at 20:00 Beijing time on September 28. OKX and KuCoin opened XDP/USDT spot trading at 21:00; the official contract is 0x07b3…91D0 on the Base chain.
• MARSCOIN / Niu Lai - On September 28, Binance announced support for SPCXB and QQQB holders to receive an airdrop: daily random snapshots are used, and only single-token daily holdings exceeding 10,000 units are counted. In addition, two tokens were set aside to add a 30% spot-fee bonus; the first batch is expected to be distributed in early October.
Observation: Today’s main theme isn’t a broad market rally—it’s repairs to trading infrastructure and compliance expansion. Bitget is still restoring services in phases, while Coinbase, Citi, and Chainlink are advancing clearing, stablecoin payments, and cross-chain compliance in parallel. In the short term, focus on XDP’s new-coin liquidity, and the holding games driven by the MARSCOIN and Niu Lai airdrop rules—don’t treat expectations as already received profits.
