In August 2022, ZB (CoinBene) suspended deposits and withdrawals. Looking back, it’s already been more than four years.
About a month after $QI $BR ’s withdrawal halt began, someone reminded his friend: the platform showed lots of abnormal coin transfers and coin sales. If you can withdraw, try to withdraw. At the time, he thought: with a platform that big, it probably wouldn’t cause his more than a hundred thousand worth of spot assets to go wrong—so he didn’t take action.
Until August 2022, when he logged in to withdraw, the page only showed “System maintenance, deposits and withdrawals suspended.” By September, there were more and more messages, and he couldn’t reach customer service. Only then did he slowly accept that this asset might be hard to get back.
Now, the ZB app is still on his phone, but when he taps it, the content won’t load—like an old drawer that can’t be opened.
