$QNT I only just finished writing the last post: “Both sides finally moved in the same direction,” and this round they separated again. The price moved from 246.4 back to 246.8 USDT—almost unchanged in place. Yet this 4H candle rose from 233.9 to 246.7, +5.5%; over the most recent hour, it’s up +3.2%. Within this short window, after flipping negative in the previous post, it turned positive again. Over the same period, the funding rate went from -0.0117% further into negative territory, down to -0.0138%. In the last post, I said the funding rate stayed negative; when pullbacks happen, they’re still being confirmed by the cost side. This time it confirms even deeper, but the price first turns upward—costs and price once again move in different directions.

At the same time, the 24-hour gain dropped from about 50% to around 29%. 24H trading volume is about 321 million USDT, which is roughly 8% higher than the about 297 million in the previous post. At the same price level, the paper gain shrank by about 21 percentage points—volume did not retreat along with it.

Next, only if this 4H candle retakes the high of 258.2 and holds it can we talk about continuing to write on. If it falls back to 231.15, this 4H low point, then the pullback from the previous post still wouldn’t be finished. If the funding rate closes back near the zero line, then the cost side would finally be moving in the same direction as price for the first time since this rebound began. But if it continues to deepen into negative, and 1H and 4H turn negative first—then the “misalignment” would just be a redo in a different direction.
