But if you only look at the SOL chart, you might miss whatโs happening underneath it.
One development Iโm watching closely is Alpenglow.
The major Solana consensus upgrade is now running on public test networks, with a target of around 150ms transaction finality. That could be a major step for payments, trading and other applications that need very fast settlement.
And the bigger picture is getting interesting too.

But here's where I think people should slow down.
A faster blockchain doesn't automatically mean a higher SOL price.
More transactions don't automatically guarantee adoption.
And a major upgrade still has to work under real-world conditions.
That's why I'm watching the development + adoption, not just the candle.
Because the bigger question is:
Can Solana become a serious financial network for the next generation of on-chain markets? ๐ง
If that happens, today's SOL price may become much less interesting than the infrastructure being built behind it.
