💰 Practical case: what to do with USDT while waiting for the market?
Let’s imagine a situation: I have 2,000 USDT, but I don’t want to buy crypto right now. For example, BTC has risen sharply, and instead of entering at any price, I decide to wait.
Option #1 — leave all 2,000 USDT on Spot.
Option #2 — temporarily place part of the funds in Binance Earn.
I could do it like this:
🔹 Leave 500 USDT on Spot so I have funds for a quick purchase;
🔹 Place 1,500 USDT into the Flexible Earn product if its terms and rate suit me.
Let’s assume the available APR is 5%. In 30 days, 1,500 USDT would yield approximately:
1,500 × 5% ÷ 365 × 30 ≈ 6.16 USDT
This is just a simplified example: the actual rate may change, and the real reward depends on the terms of the specific product.
📌 For me, the main idea here isn’t to earn a huge amount.
I’m just putting idle capital that’s already waiting for the next opportunity in the market to work.
When a good entry point appears, I check the Earn redemption conditions and can return the needed portion of funds for the purchase.
That’s how I see the practical value of Binance Earn: not a replacement for trading, but a tool for temporarily idle assets.
So what do you do with USDT when you’re waiting for a good entry point?
