PANews reported on April 1 that according to Coinpaper, members of the European Parliament approved three draft bills to strengthen the regulation of crypto transactions. The legislation relates to money laundering and terrorist financing, and while it does not directly target digital assets, once signed into law, anonymous transfers will be limited to €1,000 (approximately $1,087 USD). In addition, new regulations may supplement the Market Regulation on Crypto-Assets (MiCA) Act.
