LPL Financial CEO Rich Steinmeier said AI will not replace financial advisors, but it could dramatically change their work, according to Bloomberg.

Speaking on Bloomberg Open Interest, Steinmeier said trust and empathy remain critical, while AI could automate much of an advisor’s behind-the-scenes workload. He also said the technology race is helping drive further consolidation across wealth management.
