ICP surged to nearly $700 that year, reaching a market cap in the hundred-billion level; now it’s $3.

What about QNT? Total supply is only 14.88 million, with about 12 million in circulation. If it reaches $500, the total market cap would be only $7.4 billion—less than 8% of ICP’s peak.

Overledger, the core product of QNT, is an interoperability layer connecting traditional finance with blockchain, enabling banks to access tokenized deposits and cross-chain settlement without having to overhaul their existing systems.

Key catalysts:

· On September 24, the U.S. clearinghouse TCH selected Quant to provide technical support for its “On-Chain Currency Program.” The network has the backing of 25 major U.S. banks and is expected to go live in the first half of 2027. TCH processes over $200 billion in settlement business per day.

After the news broke, QNT surged 300% within a week, hitting 373, then fell back to around 200.

Don’t just look up gains: token capture is indirect, the treasury holds about 65%; in the surge, there may be some wash trading.

500 is just a scenario, not a promise.

Do you think QNT can reach $500 this round, or is it another time the narrative is overdrawn?
